Key Takeaways From Consulting Practice.


My consulting journey so far is a rich blend of proactive networking, continuous learning, effective time management, and client-focused problem-solving. Here are some of my key takeaways and reflections on my consulting journey so far :


1. Leveraging Relationships: Utilizing my network of seniors, peers, colleagues, experts and consulting partners to gather insights and feedback demonstrates my proactive approach to learning and self-improvement. Building a circle of mentors further enhances my ability to navigate challenges and capitalise on opportunities.


2. Client Acquisition: Leveraging my network to reach out to potential clients and pitch my services shows being resourcefulness and initiative. Collaborating with like-minded consultants, experts, and freelancers expands my capability to address a wider range of client challenges.


3. Time Management: Effectively managing time is crucial in consulting, especially when balancing research, proposal writing, client engagement, and team coordination. Clearly defining roles and responsibilities within the team and maintaining open communication with clients contribute to successful project delivery.


4. Continuous Learning: Consulting demands adaptability and a willingness to learn. Engaging with clients across various industries and functions exposes me to diverse perspectives and challenges, necessitating continuous learning and skill development.


5. Proactivity: Being proactive in anticipating client needs and presenting comprehensive solutions demonstrates value and builds trust. Engaging in meaningful conversations, contributing insights, and maintaining regular communication with clients reinforces my commitment to their success.


6. Iterative Approach: Viewing each client engagement as a fresh opportunity for learning and problem-solving allows for greater flexibility and innovation. Continuously refining my approach based on feedback and experience ensures ongoing improvement and success in my consulting endeavours.

My Learnings And Reflections From Nature

                                                                                                  Kaziranga National Park, May 2025 During one of my field works at Kaziranga National Park I came across this log with many shoft shell turtles. I started counting them from left to right and I found 10 of them in the wood log. The log seemed to have been a fallen tree or a submerged tree inside the water as it did not move with the flow of the canal water.   Looking at the log, a picture emerged. Day One: The Journey Begins, Exploring Self.   Sometimes, life gives you a gentle nudge—or a firm shove—out of your comfort zone.
